The Lakes Project to feed Ukraine refugees is a youth-led project to provide nutritional meals to refugees in Poland.
An additional goal is to bring awareness to the local area through speaking engagements that are scheduled throughout the month. On August 10, 2022, we will hold a packing event at the Expo Center where at least 150 volunteers will pack at least 35,000 meals. You can help increase that number by donating or to either St. Mary’s or St. Joseph’s church office indicating “The Lakes Project.”
All funds go directly to increasing the number of meals packed. All shipping fees have been donated through a grant. A special thank you to the youth ministry committees that have been working to coordinate this all-around community event!
